Aero Narrowband Tiantong/Iridium +5G+Wi-Fi Satellite Communication System

The aero narrowband TianTong/Iridium + 5G communication system was developed based on the application of TianTong/Iridium satellite communication and 5G terrestrial public network communication. The product adopts a modular design concept, deployed as an in-cabin communication terminal + out-of-cabin communication antenna, integrating modules such as TianTong + Iridium, GPS positioning, and 5G + WiFi. It supports remote management. Using TianTong/Iridium satellite + 5G terrestrial public network communication, it achieves connectivity across all domains, completely solving the long-standing problem of aircraft being “unseen and contactable”.

The main control board inside the aero TianTong/Iridium + 5G terminal equipment hosts the communication application system. It can connect to external devices to collect various data, connect and control the TianTong/Iridium communication board, and complete information interaction with TianTong/Iridium satellites through the TianTong/Iridium communication network. This enables functions such as TianTong/Iridium satellite voice communication, short message communication, and data business communication. Simultaneously, it can access the terrestrial 5G public network to enable low-altitude applications in conjunction with the ground system.

The aero narrowband TianTong/Iridium + 5G terminal equipment is designed for aviation rack-mount installation, secured by locating pins at the rear of the rack and quick-turn fasteners at the front of the rack.

The aero narrowband TianTong/Iridium antenna adopts a miniaturized flat design, featuring a small size and light weight. The RF connector of the antenna is located directly below the bottom surface of the antenna, using TNC-F connectors. The bottom surface of the antenna is equipped with shock-absorbing rubber pads. The antenna is fixed by four screw holes around it and can be directly grounded to the aircraft installation surface through the bottom surface, eliminating the need for additional external grounding operations.
